What is a Bachelor of International Hotel Management?
A Bachelor of Business in International Hotel Management equips you with the skills for a global career in hotel management. You’ll gain immersive practical learning in a simulated hotel environment at our residential campus, along with valuable networking opportunities with leading hotel brands.

You will begin your studies with a 12-week immersive trimester at our Leura campus, where you’ll experience all aspects of hotel operations before continuing at our Surry Hills campus. In addition, you’ll complete 720 hours of paid industry placement, gaining real-world experience with leading hospitality organisations. The course also focuses on foundations and professional practice, as well as hotel leadership, with a business management emphasis that prepares you to step confidently into management roles in the global hospitality industry.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.

  • Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
  • Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
  • Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
  • The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants

Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:

  • Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
  • Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
  • Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
  • PhD students can stay upto 4 years

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Before you begin your course application as an international student, check you meet all the requirements listed below

  • Australian Year 12 or equivalent AND be 18 years of age by the start of the first trimester;
  • Academic IELTS 6.0 with no skills band less than 5.5.

OR alternative entry requirements may be available. Alternative entry may include assessment and approval of prior study, or successful completion of a readiness assessment.
