This 12-week Foundation Course – Entrance Exam, is the perfect solution for those students that do not full fill the entry requirements for the three-year Bachelor of Arts Validated programmes.
- Those that do not full fill the entrance requirements for entering the 3 year BA Validated programmes.
- Those that are in doubt as to which Higher Education in Design programme to choose.
- The aim of this intensive Foundation Course – Entrance Exam is to introduce the students to the practice of being a designer. It will help them develop their creative expression, their ideas, add meaning and context to their designs and identify where their design skill best lie.
On successful completion of the Foundation Course you will be eligible to enrol in whichever of our three-year Bachelor of Arts Validated programmes you choose.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Students who possesses a high school diploma or similar level of education can enter the 3-year Bachelor of Arts Validated programmes at Marbella Design Academy. All international equivalent qualifications will be assessed and guidance will be taken from the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC). The Students have to have minimum 17 years of age to enter in the 1st year of the 3 years Bachelor of Arts Validated programmes. Visa requirements for non-european students: If you come from an EU country you don’t need VISA to study at Marbella Design Academy. To enter Spain as an international student at Marbella Design Academy on the 3 year Validated Programmes, you need a Student Visa from the Spanish Embassy/Consulate. (Students on Summer Courses and on the Foundation Course can enter Spain on a Tourist Visa, which is valid for 3 months. You will have to show a return ticket). Via Google you can find the Embassy/Consulate nearest to you in your home country. As soon as you have been accepted to our Academy we recommend that you make enquiries at the Spanish Embassy/Consulate for you to find out the exact requirements for your country.
