Students develop research skills and gain practical experience with a large capstone project.
This degree completion program — developed for graduates of advanced diploma programs in interior design — teaches students how to create, edit, and manage construction documents, enabling them to pursue careers in the construction and facilities management industries. Students also learn to analyze interiors, architecture, decorative arts, and art within global, historical, economic, ecological and cultural contexts and human-centred theories to examine clients’ needs and goals.
The program prepares students for entry-level interior design practice, advanced study, and application for membership in professional interior design organizations.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- Only graduates of an Ontario College Advanced (three-year) Diploma in Interior Design program will be considered for this program.
- Graduates must have a program GPA of 2.7 or higher.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
- Applicants with international transcripts where English proficiency results are not supplied must test at the college level in the George Brown College English assessment to be considered.
