MSc International Human Resource Management
This programme is focused on contemporary human resource management (HRM) practice. It's designed to ensure you develop the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to deal effectively, systematically and creatively with issues around people management. HRM is a globally important functional area of all organisations.
The programme covers a wide range of HRM strategies, policies and procedures that organisations use to manage employees in both local and global contexts. You’ll also develop an understanding of the differences between HRM practices and employment systems of different countries and multinational organisations, and how they are influenced by economic, political and social factors.
You’ll share experiences with peers from all over the world, through workshops and activities, to develop professional and strategic thinking skills.
This programme will:
Develop your knowledge and understanding of contemporary HRM in a local and international context.
Develop a critical understanding of the complexities of managing employment systems.
Enable you to become HR managers who’ll have an influence on organisational performance and change.
Give you the opportunity to study and learn intellectual abilities and strength in a multicultural and stimulating academic environment.
During the final phase of the programme, you'll be able to self-select a project relating to international HRM. This can be used to highlight your acquired skillset to potential employers.
