MA Conference Interpreting
The two types of interpreting will be studied: consecutive interpreting and simultaneous interpreting. Various exercises will be used to train students in these skills: memory exercises; interpreting without notes; visual interpretation; note-taking techniques and simultaneous interpreting with a script. The institutional repository will be used and new emerging platforms for remote interpreting will be explored. The languages ??offered for this course are Irish, English, French, Spanish, Italian and German. The theory and practice of interpreting will be studied, where the focus will be on communication skills, eg, voice training. The professional ethics of this profession will also be examined, together with conference procedures,
