Working on an international student visa
Your student visa allows you to work up to 40 hours per fortnight when your course is in session and unlimited hours during semester breaks, so you can work while you study in Australia. However, you shouldn’t rely on part-time work to pay for your tuition fees or other living expenses.
If you are a subclass 574 (postgraduate research sector) student visa holder and are studying a higher degree by research, there is no limit on the number of hours you can work.

4 years of Post-Study Work (PSW) rights to international students post completion of their respective Bachelors or Masters Degree in regional areas.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
All India Senior School Certificates awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education with an average of 65% in four subjects, one of which must be English (with 65% or better) or separate English competence OR Indian School Certificate (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) with an average of 65% in five subjects, one of which must be English (with 65% or better) or separate evidence of English competence. Refer to course fees lists following for cut-off scores.
