It’s game on for your career in Game Design
Discover human and player-centred design methodologies with a Bachelor of Digital Design. Delivered in partnership with TAFE Queensland, you’ll develop specialist skills and knowledge in the theory and production of game art, game design, and interactive digital media. Explore your passions and delve into concept art, 3D modelling and sculpting, 3D texturing, animation, and real-time rendering. What’s more, you’ll get to put all of this into practice thanks to our hands-on approach to learning.
Upon completion of the course, you’ll be given the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge to the development of games.

Study a Bachelor of Game Design at UC and you will:
- Develop an understanding of the game design and production process from concept development through to the production methodologies that are applied in today's leading game studios.
- Gain skills and knowledge in concept art, 3D modelling and sculpting, 3D texturing, animation, and real time rendering.
- Have the opportunity to collaborate with film makers, musicians, visual artists, actors, and other teams across the broad creative industries spectrum, working on real commercial projects from within the TAFE Queensland games production studio.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- Must provide certified evidence of your current English proficiency level including: English tests; transcripts and award certificates; and/or a letter from the institution stating the language of instruction.
- Must provide certified evidence of academic transcripts and award certificates. Transcripts should indicate if the academic requirements of the course are incomplete /complete or if the award has been conferred.
- Provide Statements of Employment and a Resume with referee contact details for courses with work experience requirements.
- Subject descriptions must be provided for International Qualifications and may be requested for Domestic Qualifications if required. Not providing this documentation with your application could delay the outcome- Credit transfer/ advanced standing.
- Other qualifications not listed will be considered on an individual basis. This list provides minimum entry requirements for courses; however, some courses may have higher entry requirements. If you are unable to meet the above requirements, you may be eligible to access a pathway provided by college.
