Westminster International University in Tashkent
Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) was established in 2002 in partnership with the University of Westminster (UK, London) and the Government of Uzbekistan.WIUT is based in very center of the capital of Uzbekistan, a country with very rich history. The strategy of the new University (WIUT) was to provide to students taught in Uzbekistan, a similar experience, at the same standard as students in The University of Westminster in London, to produce ‘home grown’ graduates of international standard. It was the first university, to provide internationally accredited degrees in Central Asia.
The University of Westminster (UoW) assures the academic quality of the courses at WIUT. Students are registered as the students of the University of Westminster, and are subject to the same academic regulations as those students studying in London. WIUT follows the same procedures for academic monitoring, learning and assessment as UoW. These are subject to validation and verification, audit and revision by the UoW or any UK body that needs to ensure the integrity and quality of the WIUT courses.
Degrees from WIUT are accredited by the University of Westminster (UK) and qualifications that the world will recognise. But it's much more than that. Our courses will give you an amazing university experience that's rooted in a rich heritage.

Establishment of Westminster International University in Tashkent by University of Westminster in collaboration with the “Umid” foundation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
