International Study Centre
The Coventry University London International Study Centre, based by the business hub of London, provides international students with a direct route onto a range of degrees at the University.
Our programmes consist of academic modules, study skills and English language training to ensure that you have the skills to succeed when you progress onto your chosen degree programme.
At Coventry University London International Study Centre you can choose between three programmes depending on your skills, academic background and age:
International Foundation Year
This course is designed to help international students succeed in a UK classroom environment and meet the entry requirements for undergraduate study.
International Year One
This course is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree and it leads to the second year of your chosen degree.
Pre-Master's Programme
This course is specifically designed to meet the needs of international students. You will gain the specialist skills and knowledge you need to succeed in your Master’s degree.
Progression to the University
By the end of your chosen programme you will be fully prepared for degree study and have the skills you will need to succeed at the University. In 2018, every student who completed their programme and achieved the required grades was offered a place to continue studying at Coventry University London.
A taste of university life
International Study Centre programmes will introduce you to the style of teaching and learning that you will experience when you progress onto your degree. You will learn via one-to-one tutorials, small seminars and as part of larger lecture groups. You’ll also have access to the new Student Lounge area, Library and Study Areas at the University so you will know your way around when you progress.

As well as studying at our well-equipped centre, once you progress to the University you’ll also have access to an extensive range of facilities on campus, including the library and state-of-the-art subject resources.
Investing in a great student experience
Coventry University London recently developed the third floor on campus, investing several hundreds pounds in new student-focused spaces:
- A brand new lounge with 25% more seating, learning facilities, and an interactive projector for film nights, table tennis, and table football
- Expanded library with an IT skills training room, including modern equipment like interactive screens for group work
- New student information desk providing support, such as accommodation services, a private area for discussions with a team member and meeting rooms
- Vending machine with contactless technology, making it convenient to grab a drink or a snack between classes or while relaxing.

Study Group is a private pathway provider to be accepted on to the Office for Students (OfS) Register of English higher education providers. This means we meet the OfS requirements for course quality, academic standards, student support and student protection, meaning International Study Centre students can now access the same range of benefits as students attending other UK public universities.
