During its 27 years of existence, Spiru Haret University has gained a well-deserved national and international reputation. This comes after years of constant endeavour aimed at continuous increase of education quality, permanent improvement of the teaching and research standards in accordance with the latest European and international principles and practices.

Our university is the only Romanian higher education institution being invited and attending large European and international events in the field of education: the celebration of 50 years from the signature of the Treaty of Rome, the International Conference of the Distance Learning Presidents Council held in Barcelona, annual meetings of the American Council of Education in Washington and Phoenix (Arizona), USA.
