The CHE Ranking Table looks at facts to do with studying, teaching, equipment and research and also includes student assessments of the study conditions at their universities – in some subjects, the reputation of the academic staff is also taken into account. In the following table, the ratings for “general student situation” can be seen.

Social Work deals with topics which are of relevance to society with the aim of improving social situations. The objective of all social work is to enable people to develop their potential and shape their life and social interactions to their own satisfaction.

LEARNING GOALS:
The programme equips students with the competence to interact on the professional level. On graduation, you are qualified to plan, design, monitor, teach, evaluate and further develop social work interactions in a scientific and practically relevant way.

Very good ranking results: In the German national CHE University ranking published in the ZEIT newspaper, the Social Work degree programme at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences was awarded very good marks in several categories.
