IMT Mines Alès
Founded in 1843 in Alès, IMT Mines Alès has developed there and has adapted to changes in the industrial world and society. Founded to train executives for the mining industry, it is now a large multidisciplinary engineering school with an international influence. She is a member of the Institut Mines-Télécom, of the Carnot MINES Institute; of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles and associate member of COMUE Languedoc-Roussillon.
Following the various opinions given by the CTI (engineer title commission), IMT Mines Alès is empowered to issue an engineer diploma (generalist) in initial and continuous training and to issue three specialized engineer diplomas by learning in "IT and networks"; "Construction design and management" and "mechatronics". The school also offers two Specialized Masters "Industrial Safety and Environment" and "Mining Operation and Environment"; and three Masters "Bio-engineering in partnership with the University of Montpellier"; "Bioengineering in partnership with the University"; "Communication and digital technology in co-operation with CELSA" as well as diplomas through the VAE.
