Mohawk College
Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology is a public college of applied arts and technology located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It has three main campuses: the Fennell Campus on the Hamilton Mountain, the Stoney Creek Campus in Stoney Creek, and the Mohawk-McMaster Institute for Applied Health Sciences at McMaster University. As of 2014 more than 1000 faculty instruct roughly 12,500 full-time students, 4,000 apprentices, 46,000 continuing education registrants, and 1,800 international students studying in more than 130 post-secondary and apprenticeship programs. Since its founding in 1966, over 115,000 students have graduated from Mohawk College.
History
Mohawk College was established during the formation of Ontario's college system in 1966. The school was founded in 1967 as part of a provincial initiative to create many such institutions to provide career-oriented advanced diploma, diploma, and certificate courses, as well as continuing education programs to Ontario communities.

Stoney Creek Campus
Mohawk's Stoney Creek Campus for Skilled Trades is the home of the Marshall School of Skilled Trades & Apprenticeship. With top technology and professional facilities for the skilled trades, Mohawk grads are in high demand. Our well prepared apprentices choose from a lineup of eager industry employers. At Mohawk you’ll obtain job-ready training and in-school education to step into tomorrow’s workforce. Apprentices are in great demand in a highly competitive global market that has to meet the challenges of today’s technology. Mohawk annually serves 2,400 apprenticeship students and is one of the largest trainers of apprentices in Ontario.
Institute for Applied Health Sciences at McMaster
Home to six hospitals and a cancer centre, Hamilton has a great demand for health care practitioners. Led by a world-class faculty, Mohawk prepares students in outstanding facilities that include the human anatomy and simulation labs, as well as computer and digital labs. You’ll complete field and clinical placements with teaching and community hospitals throughout Ontario for enhanced learning in a real health care setting.
