Bachelor of Science in Games Development

This course offers a sound education in all aspects of information technology and develops the diverse skills necessary for a career in computer games development.

Graduates gain an enhanced work-ready expertise in games development, iterative design processes, team project planning and management, and games-specific technology. In doing so, graduates are equipped with a wide range of skills that can be applied to a range of IT careers, such as practical problem-solving skills, the application of theory and cutting-edge research to a real-world context, programming across a variety of languages, professional verbal and written communication, entrepreneurship, life-long learning, and an awareness of the principles of ethics in the IT sector.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

India

Successful completion of the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) (10+2) with overall grades in best four academic subjects where A1=5, A2=4.5, B1=3.5, B2=3.0, C1=2.0, C2=1.5, D1=1, D2=0.5, or successful completion of the Indian School Certificate Examination (10+2) awarded by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) with an overall percentage grade average in the best four externally examined subjects.

Successful completion of the Higher Secondary School examinations from some state boards with a competitive pass may also be accepted.

Sri Lanka

Successful completion of the Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (GCE) with 3 Advanced level passes at the same sitting.

Pakistan

Successful completion of at least one full-time year of a four-year bachelor's degree at a recognized university or a completed 2 to 3 years bachelor degree at a recognized university.

Bangladesh

Successful completion of at least one full-time year of a four-year bachelor's degree at a recognized university or a completed 2 to 3 year bachelor degree at a recognized university.

Nepal

Successful completion of at least one full-time year of a four-year bachelor's degree at a recognized university or a completed 2 to 3 year bachelor degree at a recognized university.
