Competency Assessment Programme for Nurses
For nurses who are registered overseas or nurses who were registered or enrolled in New Zealand and want to return to clinical practice. This programme will support you to apply for an annual practising certificate.
Programme Outline
This programme integrates theory and practice and gives the overseas registered nurse, or the registered nurse who has been away from clinical practice, the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to meet the New Zealand Nursing Council Competencies for the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice and thereby apply for an annual practising certificate.
