Qualifications
Depending upon your prior qualifications and experience you will be eligible for entry credit which reduces the duration.
Entry Level 1: Duration: 2 years full-time, 4 years part-time (96 points to complete)
An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a non-cognate discipline with at least a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60% or an equivalent GPA as determined by the Faculty, or qualification/experience, or satisfactory substitute that the faculty considers being equivalent.
Entry Level 2: Duration: 1.5 years full-time, 3 years part-time (72 points to complete)
An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline with a research Honours, or a medical degree or a Monash University Bachelor of Public Health or Public Health Science or a Monash University Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree with 36 credit points of specified public health units (refer to additional requirements); with at least a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60% or an equivalent GPA as determined by the Faculty
OR
An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with at least a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60% or an equivalent GPA as determined by the Faculty and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
Entry Level 3: Duration: 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time (48 points to complete)
An Australian Master of Philosophy or Ph.D. or doctoral degree or AQF level 9 qualifications (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
OR
An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience
AND
Part 1 of a specialist medical training program or current Fellowship of a specialist medical college recognized by the Medical Board of Australia
AND
current registration with AHPRA or a satisfactory substitute that the Faculty considers to be equivalent
