Accounting BSBA
Accounting, known as "The Language of Business,” is the process of measuring results of an organization and communicating those results to investors, creditors and management. Our program is dedicated to teaching curriculum that sets up graduates for success in their future careers. We also provide students with the opportunity to participate in our Superior Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi (BAP). In addition, some students have accepted internships with well-known accounting firms and other organizations such as Horne LLP, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, and Ernst & Young.
Students are encouraged to consider participating in Study Abroad programs including British Studies, Italian Studies, or Asian Studies. Many of our students have been awarded scholarships from alumni, corporations, the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), and more recently the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
