Graduate Certificate in Sport Management
The Graduate Certificate in Sport Management is taught in English and consists of 40 credit points, which normally takes one semester of full-time study. The Graduate Certificate in Sport Mangement is designed to provide students with introductory knowledge and skills to work with sporting teams, clubs, players and events. The program has been designed to achieve an integrated knowledge base using an evidence-based, case study approach. Students gain a strong foundation in required sport management sub-disciplines including finance, high-performance sport, organisational behaviour, and international sport business management. Successful graduates from this certificate program are eligible to enrol in the Graduate Diploma in Sport Management. This certificate program is useful for graduates from other cognate areas with ambitions to enter into the field of sport management. It is also appropriate for professionals seeking to upgrade their qualifications, and/or to achieve a career change from another field into the diverse sport industry. Admission to this program is based on successful completion of an undergraduate degree program at an approved institution.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) in any field, and a portfolio of creative work for assessment.
