Master of Information SystemsThe Master of Information Systems program at Cleveland State University is a specialized STEM degree program designed to prepare students for careers as information professionals. Housed within the Monte Ahuja College of Business, the coursework combines a blend of technology and management-oriented courses designed to prepare the next generation of technology managers to lead enterprises in innovative ways. Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Graduate applicants must meet all of the following minimum requirements:

  1. Completed application with a $40 non-refundable application fee. Application fees cannot be waived or deferred. 
  2. Transcripts of academic work and degree certificates from each college/university attended. All school records should be submitted in the original language and should be accompanied by a certified English translation.
  3. Proof of having met at least one of the English language proficiency requirements. CSU offers students the following choices to prove English language proficiency:

  • TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based): 78 and at least 17 in each section
  • TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based): 550
  • IELTS: 6.0 and at least 5.0 in each section
  • PTE (Pearsons Test of English): 50
  • Duolingo English Test: 100
  • iTEP: 3.8
