Spanish (Language and Society Specialization), B.A

Effective social and professional engagement with that burgeoning population and with the hundreds of millions of other Spanish-speakers around the globe calls for a deep understanding of the structures of the Spanish language and the societies where it is spoken. Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

You must have a 3.0 weighted GPA in the academic core courses (AGPA) in order to be admitted to the University of Nevada, Reno. The academic courses include: English, math, social sciences and natural sciences. A weighted AGPA takes into account the extra difficulty of honors, AP or IB classes.

International students must meet the following criteria to be considered for admission to the University:

GPA: 3.0 academic GPA on a 4.0 scale
English proficiency: 61+ TOEFL or 6.0 IELTS or 95+ Duolingo
SAT/ACT scores: We do not require SAT or ACT scores for admission or scholarship consideration
