The Nevada Career Studio’s mission is to connect students, educators, and employers to meet the workforce development needs of the state, nation and global community by building student career readiness from early engagement, graduation and beyond.

As a part of the Student Services Division, the Nevada Career Studio is continually seeking ways to learn, improve and iterate. We believe that inclusion and equity only improve when we listen to voices from all backgrounds. You must have a 3.0 weighted GPA in the academic core courses (AGPA) in order to be admitted to the University of Nevada, Reno. The academic courses include: English, math, social sciences and natural sciences. A weighted AGPA takes into account the extra difficulty of honors, AP or IB classes.

International students must meet the following criteria to be considered for admission to the University:

GPA: 3.0 academic GPA on a 4.0 scale
English proficiency: 61+ TOEFL or 6.0 IELTS or 95+ Duolingo
SAT/ACT scores: We do not require SAT or ACT scores for admission or scholarship consideration
