Technical University of Munich

Munich , Munich ,Germany

Mechanical Engineering M. Sc.

As a driver of innovation, mechanical and plant engineering in Germany works daily on solutions for the challenges of the future. Against the background of digital change, highly qualified engineers develop solutions in the areas of Industry 4.0, efficient processes and resource-saving production, among other things. The aim of the master's degree in mechanical engineering is to train students in the fundamentals of engineering and - following on from this - in the corresponding core subjects of engineering and thus to prepare them for the challenges of their job. This puts them in a position to generate such solutions themselves.

Job Opportunity Potential

Good student jobs and internships are not always easy to find. The Alumni & Career recruiting portal  offers a selection of attractive jobs outside of the university. Companies utilize the portal to advertise student jobs, internships and opportunities for students to complete their bachelor's and master's theses. In addition, various TUM institutes and department chairs place ads for student jobs, internships and academic theses positions on the "bulletin board".
