Mechanical engineering has been described as the ‘mother of all engineering’, thanks to its all-encompassing nature. Over the years, the study of mechanical engineering has grown from producing basic, functional products, to designing advanced, technology-based items that are smaller, smarter, and greener than ever before.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
At least 90% in all subjects including English but excluding the other languages and Technical subjects such as Home Science, Art, Fashion Design in the Standard 12 Board exam.
A good pass in E1119 English (preferably score of ‘A’) or IGCSE O Level at First language (A grade) or MUET (at least 4) or SAT (at least 1250) or TOEFL (at least 90) or IELTS (at least 6 overall, writing 6) is compulsory or Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) if applying for scholarships and/or non-Engineering/non-Science programmes except Chinese programme
