Lastly, you can gain teaching experience as a graduate teaching assistant, teaching undergraduate statistics or mathematics courses. GTAs receive substantial teaching preparation along with a tuition waiver and stipend. You'll be eligible to receive funding as a doctorate student for up to six years.
