Business Administration – Human Resources, B.S.

A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrating in human resources will prepare you to use a strategic, business mindset to help both people and organizations in the workplace. HR professionals work with employees and managers to ensure staff is effective, motivated and working efficiently, as well as continuing to develop skills and experience that will benefit the individual and organization into the future.

Your coursework will include core business classes, as well as courses on occupational safety and health, compensation, employee development and psychology. HR professionals handle employee issues such as conflict in the workplace, staffing, career development and training, compensation, benefits, and health and safety. You will also learn about the regulatory environment and the requirements it places on today’s workplaces.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Admissions Requirements

To pursue an undergraduate degree, students must have completed the equivalency of U.S. high school.

To apply to one of Indiana Tech’s undergraduate programs, you must submit:

  • Application form
  • Official secondary school results (with certified translations and grading scale)
  • Official university transcripts, if applicable (with certified translations and grading scale)
    • If from a foreign university, please have these transcripts evaluated at one of these approved transfer credit agencies
    • If you plan on transferring from another university, you can read about the transfer process here. 
  • English proficiency test results (for students from non-English speaking countries) from the below list of approved testing agencies:
    • TOEFL (iBT)- 70
    • IELTS – 6.0
    • PTE – 51
    • Duolingo English Test (DET) – 95

Note: All documents received by International Admissions, including original documents, become the property of Indiana Tech and cannot be returned to the applicant.
