Sociology, B.A.
Sociology is the study of the social life, social change, and the societal causes and consequences of human behavior. With a Sociology degree from UNK, you will learn technical and analytic skills as you gain a global perspective on complex issues.
Sociologists study a broad array of topics including the intimate family, organized crime, politics, race, gender, and social class. You'll be prepared to help make a positive difference in the world through investigative research and identifying social trends.
Because of both the broad scope of study and the focus on critical thinking and interpersonal analysis, a Sociology degree prepares students for a wide range of career opportunities. This degree also pairs well as a second major, and provides a strong foundation for graduate study.
