Bachelor of Arts in Law & Justice Studies

Welcome to the Law and Justice Studies Department hompage. The undergraduate Law and Justice Studies program provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study of crime, the function of criminal law and the criminal justice system. The program focuses on preparing students for professional careers in the major areas of law enforcement and security services, court services, corrections and human services by combining academically challenging coursework with practical work experience through internships. The program provides the rigorous preparation necessary for students who wish to continue their education at the graduate level. The Department of Law and Justice Studies is the largest department in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Rowan University and has approximately 500 majors.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Submit your High School Transcript. If your document is not translated to English a certified English translation is necessary.
Submit standardized language test score - a TOEFL minimum score of 70, IELTS minimum score of 6.0, Pearson Test of English (PTE) minimum score of 50 or Duolingo test minimum score of 95 for traditional admissions. International students must submit standardized test scores unless they are exempt (View Language Policy).
