Master of Science in Kinesiology
Ranked by Niche as the top Kinesiology department in Washington state and the Pacific Northwest, the Kinesiology program at PLU brings a tradition of excellence into the Master of Science degree. The program combines a rigorous academic experience with real-world, relevant and impactful applications designed to intentionally address critical gaps in Kinesiology training and practice.

English Proficiency Requirements
Minimum TOEFL or IELTS requirements are as follows:
- TOEFL-IBT:- 83
- IELTS:- 6.5
The English proficiency requirement can also be met if applicants have completed one of the following:
- A bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree from a regionally-accredited institution in the United States. (This does not apply to nursing programs).
- A baccalaureate degree or higher from a recognized college or university in an English-speaking country or region, including Australia, Canada (other than Quebec), Great Britain, Ireland, or New Zealand. (This does not apply to nursing programs).
- Both primary and secondary education in an English-speaking country or region, including Australia, Canada (other than Quebec), Great Britain, Ireland, New Zealand, or the United States. Students are considered to be a native English speaker.
- A recognized Intensive English Program (IEP) in the United States and received an English proficiency level equivalent to the required minimum TOEFL/IELTS scores of the applied program.
