English Literary Research MRes
The course is designed to provide you with the independence of a research degree with some of the guidance of a taught Masters. You will learn about approaches to the study of literature, and will have the opportunity to study authors, literary movements, themes or critical ideas in depth.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Three and four-year Bachelors degrees
Grades of 55% (2.1), 50% (2.2) from the University of Mumbai, University of Kolkata and University of Delhi.
Grades of 60% (2.1), 55% (2.2) from other recognised universities in India
Masters degrees
Grades of 50%+ from recognised universities in India
Grade equivalent to IELTS 6.5
PTE Academic:
62 (with no less than 51 in any element)
C2 Proficiency (formerly known as Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE)):
Scores of 180 and above, with 162 or above in Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking
C1 Advanced (formerly known as Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)):
Scores of 176 and above, with 162 or above in Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking
