This module provides you with a professional setting in which you can apply the knowledge and skills acquired in lectures, workshops and practical classes, while simultaneously extending and refining your knowledge and skills, over and above the experiences provided through the mechanisms of fieldwork and dissertation work.
The department has a close and effective relationship with the University’s dedicated Careers Centre. Careers workshops are also delivered in all three years of our degree programmes. These cover getting part-time work, volunteering, networking and applying for internships and graduate jobs.
Our Careers and Employability Week has been designed to help you make the jump from degree study to employment or further study. Content is delivered by department staff and the Careers Centre with assistance from E3i. In these sessions, you will learn about career planning, management and the world of work.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Degrees – entry requirements for undergraduate degrees are typically expressed in terms of UCAS Tariff points, with some courses requesting grades in specific subject areas;
Acceptable qualifications are:
Higher Secondary School Certificates
65% or higher in all subjects within Indian School Certificate (ISC) /Intermediate Certificate / Higher School Certificate / Higher Secondary Certificate / All India Senior School Certificate / Pre-University course – awarded on completion of Standard XII (may be eligible for undergraduate study if awarded by the Metro Boards)
Successful completion of Edge Hill IFP. The University also accepts students from a number of foundation courses offered elsewhere
Applicants with College Diplomas may qualify for entry to the 2nd year of our undergraduate degrees. Each application will be considered individually to assess the areas of study covered and the grades obtained
Students who wish to transfer to the 2nd year of an undergraduate degree at Edge Hill University should provide:
