Our BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science programme can lead you towards a fulfilling and meaningful role. With this course you’ll learn the skills and knowledge you need to become a frontline healthcare professional, making a difference for patients who require urgent emergency care.
Throughout your time on the course you will be supported by experienced tutors and lecturers. You’ll also have the opportunity to complete placements in supervised urgent and emergency care settings.

At our High Wycombe Campus you’ll be in the heart of the action. As our main campus, it is home to a range of state-of-the-art facilities, such as personal Art & Design workspaces, Aviation Simulator, Gym and Film and TV Studios.

Uxbridge Campus

We understand the importance of healthcare, that’s why we have a whole campus in Uxbridge dedicated to Nursing, Healthcare and Allied Health courses. So if you decide to study one of these courses, this will be most likely your new home!

You might also consider a career in research, clinical education or even a leadership or management position in healthcare, social care or education – the possibilities are endless.

Our BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science course will help prepare you for a range of career possibilities. Many of our graduates go on to work with an ambulance service in the public or private sector but there are also increasing opportunities to work elsewhere in health and social care.

Completing this course will make you eligible to register as a paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and provide you with the firm academic understanding and practical experience you’ll need to excel, whatever path you choose.

PSW Opportunity

  • 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
  • 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

We require successful completion of a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 with an overall average of 65% or above.

Mathematics entry requirements

Students need the equivalent of GCSE Mathematics grade C/4.

English language requirements

Students are not required to provide an English Certificate if they achieve a score of  65% or above on the English Language subject of their a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12.

A typical offer will require a UCAS tariff score of: 80 - 104

A minimum of two full A-levels (or equivalent) is required and a typical offer also requires GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4. Every application is considered on an individual basis.
