Medical Doctor

Our medical program is taught for six years, and an awarded qualification is a Medical Doctor. The students have a full possibility to enjoy a reasonable combination of theory and clinical practice during their studies. They work in the medical school laboratories, take part in exchange programs in Europe, participate in local and international conferences and publish their theses in our international medical student journal. The study fee is 5000 US dollars per year. (6 years).
The Faculty of Medicine has signed cooperation agreements with about 60 clinics in Georgia, as well as with medical universities of different countries around the world. Students have the opportunity to have clinical practice at various university clinics around the world, also to get involved in ongoing research projects at the faculty, and participate in local and international scientific events. There is a simulation center at the faculty, where clinical/sectoral skills are taught and assessed through modern medical technologies, body interact, mannequins in a simulation clinical environment. Also, there are Chemistry, biochemistry/immunology, microbiology, histology/pathology, and physiology labs in the University.
