Master of Science in Information Technology Management (MSITM)

The program is classified as a STEM program. The goal of the program is to equip students with the advanced knowledge and skills needed to reach their potential in the ITM field. The program will give students the competency and flexibility to create and maintain a competitive edge in today’s rapidly changing, highly competitive IT environment. Students will be introduced to best practices for managing IT functions and interrelationships within an organization.

The MSITM requires students to have previous work experience, be working currently in a full-time or part-time position, completing an internship, or job shadowing. This degree is primarily intended for practicing professionals who possess a bachelor’s degree and feel the need for additional study in order to maximize and enhance their ability to contribute to their career, their company, and society. The degree will assist students who have a bachelor’s degree to prepare for further study in doctoral programs.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

  • International applicants whose primary language is not English and who are not a graduate of a college or university in the U.S. or who have not earned at least 6 credit hours at a 3.0 gpa from a college or university in the U.S. must submit a score report of 79-80 (internet-based) on the TOEFL exam; IELTS of 6.0; PTE of 53; TOEIC 600.  Students who do not meet these requirements will be given an option to be tested by the Campbellsville University ESL Department.
  • A certified, independent course by course transcript evaluation of educational studies completed at foreign institutions must be sent directly from the evaluation service to the CU Louisville Education Center.  Such transcript evaluation companies include e.g. WES, EP, ECE, etc.  This requirement may be waived if the applicant has earned a Master’s degree from an American regionally or nationally accredited college or university.
  • must be sent to the Office of Graduate Admissions prior to acceptance into the program.
  • International students who do not hold a permanent resident visa in the United States must submit evidence of financial support before a form I-20 can be processed.
  • International student applicants holding a non-immigrant VISA must also submit immigration documents as evidence of the student’s ability to legally study in the United States. Students must submit clear, legible copies of the following documents as evidence:
    • Valid passport
    • Valid non-immigrant VISA (F-1, F-2, H1-B, H4, or other valid non-immigrant VISA)
    • Valid I-94 document
    • Valid SEVIS form I-20 or other USCIS issued document supporting current non-immigrant status
  • Financial documents proving sufficient funds exist to support the student’s studies.
