DIPLOMA IN AVIATION TECHNOLOGY (IATP)
In 1997, the Moncton Flight College (MFC) recognized a need in the flight training industry and responded with the Diploma in Aviation Technology (ATP) program. This innovative program allows students to not only receive professional Transport Canada approved integrated ATP flight training, but also acquire a recognized diploma through MFC Training.
This combination of extensive technical knowledge and academic concentration gives our Diploma graduates the confidence required in today’s aviation environment.
Over the course, the Diploma students will undergo the Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Flying Curriculum; receive approximately 920 hours of Academic schooling; receive certification in Aviation Safety Management as a Company Aviation Safety Officer (CASO); receive certification in Crew Resource Management; undergo extensive training in two crew operations and advanced turbine operations within our approved level 5 King Air 200 flight simulator, and so much more. The following is a brief synopsis of the training curriculum and outline for the Diploma in Aviation Technology (ATP) program.
