Level 6 Diploma in Health & Social Care Management
The objective of the Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management qualification is to equip learners with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills required for a career in the health and social care sector at a managerial level.
The programme enables learners to demonstrate their skills by producing evidence from their work activities, to meet national occupational standards. Learners will acquire care management skills in the Health and Social Care sector.
Students will be required to work in the following fields whilst reading through the course:
Elderly / Family Carers (Live In with Families)
Elderly Carers and /or Assistant Nurses at Elderly Homes
Hospital Health Carers and Assistant Nurses
Hospital Care workers and / or Assistant Nurses
eie Institute of Education, will assist you in job placements with local families, Elderly Homes, Hospitals and clinics.
The Level 6 Diploma consists of 6 mandatory units for a combined total of 60 ECTS (120 UK credits) for the completed qualification. The Level 6 Diploma represents practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to Bachelor’s Degrees with Honours, Bachelor’s Degrees, Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Graduate Diplomas and Graduate Certificates.
