Master of Business Administration (Level 7)
The objective of the Master of Business Administration qualification is to develop strategic management and leadership skills for managers who have the authority and personal attributes to translate organisational strategy into effective operational performance. This qualification reflects current practice in Strategic Management and Leadership and allows learners to develop and expand their high-level understanding of strategic management and leadership in the workplace. This qualification is suitable for mature learners with a background in academic study or industry. The qualification has a clear work-related emphasis on practical skills development alongside theoretical fundamentals.
Successful completion of the MBA qualification will equip learners with the key skills and capabilities to become an effective strategic manager. The qualification also allows learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their study towards a DBA. The MBA consists of 6 units in part 1 for a total of 60 ECTS and 2 units in part 2 for a total of 30 ECTS.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
If you hold any of the following qualifications then you will be eligible for entry onto this course:
a first or second class honours degree from a British University (or equivalent)
a first or second class honours degree from an International University recognised by MQRIC
a Diploma in Management Studies from a British University (120 credits at Level 7/PG - 60 ECTS) (or equivalent)
In addition to the qualifications listed above, we ask that you have a minimum of two years of relevant management experience. We will consider your application if you can prove any prior credit or experiential learning that is relevant to the course. As this postgraduate qualification will attract professional practitioners and managers, you may be admitted on the basis of an assessment of meaningful and measurable prior learning or professional experience. Other qualifications may provide full or partial exemption from modules on the MBA. Please contact our Admissions Team for further information.
