Business & Hospitality Communication Diploma
The Business & Hospitality Communication Diploma program is designed for students seeking employment in the hospitality industry. If your program was less than 8 months
- You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.
If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years
- We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.
For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.
If your program was 2 years or more
- We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.
If you completed more than 1 program
- You may be able to get a PGWP that combines the length of each program.
Each of the programs you completed -
- must be PGWP-eligible and at least 8 months in length
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
General Admission Requirements
Our Admission requirements for the program are as follows:
High school graduate, or equivalent
- Mature Student or 19 years of age on the first day of class
- Completion of an approved English test, successful assessment by Create Career College (CCC), or completion of the CCC’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course.
- Successful completion of Grade 12 from a Canadian High School or equivalent,
- A score of 60% on the Create Career College English Placement Test
- Completion of Create Career College’s English as Academic Purposes (EAP) EAP is a prerequisite language program designed for international students who want to enroll in academic or vocational courses at CCC or Lakeland College in Alberta
