BMedSci in MEDICAL SCIENCES WITH FOUNDATION YEAR
To prepare students for our Medical Sciences degree, our Foundation Year provides the basic, but essential understanding of biological and chemical principles that underpin the field. It is an ideal course if you have an interest in Medical Sciences or a desire to enter a related career but do not currently have the necessary scientific background to enter our 3 year programme.
The Foundation Year is also designed to prepare students for our other undergraduate degree programmes, B102 Biomedical Science, B113 Medical Biochemistry and B103 Medical Biology and there is the possibility to transfer onto one of these programmes, subject to successfully passing the Foundation Year.
This programme will provide students with a broad basis of scientific knowledge regarding human health and disease, of importance in modern day diagnostics.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
International Year Zero
Successful completion of the Standard XII with average of 50% or above OR Completion of the Standard XII with an average of 45%.
International Year Zero is the first year of our 4 year International Incorporated Bachelor degree and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
International Year 1 - Business, Management and Finance
A minimum of 55% in the Standard XII school certificate from recognised central or state boards
OR completion of the Polytechnic/College of Technology Diploma (3 to 4 years in duration) is required to be considered for entry onto the International Year 1.
The International Year 1 is the first year of our 3 year Bachelor Degrees in Business, Management & Finance provides an intensive combination of first year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills, and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.

65% in all Central and State Boards (except Punjab State Board)
85% from Punjab State Board (or equivalent in Diploma in Engineering/Technology subject)

If you do not meet the above requirements then we will consider you for entry onto the International Year Zero.
