BSc Mathematical Modelling
On the Mathematical Modelling degree at Aberystwyth University you will learn how to use mathematical theory to develop predictive models in areas of science, engineering, and physics using mathematical analysis, experiments and quantified models to evaluate hypotheses or analyse real-world problems. At the same time, you will receive a firm grounding in the techniques of collection, classification, organisation, analysis and interpretation of data. The first two years of the Mathematical Modelling course will give you a broad introduction to important areas of mathematics, including algebra, calculus, geometry, statistics and mathematical analysis.
