DESCRIPTION OF THE STUDIES
Spanish is spoken by nearly one billion people worldwide, which makes the ability to speak it, quite an advantage. By choosing Iberian Studies (Bachelor’s programme) at Vistula University, you decide to take up a language of tremendous importance worldwide, one that is used not only in Spain, but in nineteen other countries as well, including Mexico, Argentina and Colombia.

Iberian Studies is a programme for all those who have a knack for learning languages, and wants to learn to write and speak Spanish. The Bachelor’s programme will enable you to learn Spanish up to C1 level.

In addition to language skills, you will learn about the everyday life, geography, fascinating history, unique art, traditions and customs of the countries, where Spanish is an official language. You will also gain practical skills related to translating various types of texts.

REQUIREMENTS
If you want to apply for the Iberian Studies programme, you must meet at least one of the following requirements:

• Pass your secondary school foreign language exam.
• Be a holder of an English language certificate (B1 or higher).

  ABOUT PROGRAMME
  The curriculum of Iberian Studies has been designed to best teach you the theoretical and practical knowledge of the Spanish language, as well as the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. So if you are adept at foreign languages, Iberian Studies at Vistula University is certainly a programme for you!

  INTERNSHIP
  Vistula University emphasises practicality, this is why our three-year programme includes a total of three months of internships. A total of sixty hours of internships will be conducted as workshops in a school, where we carry out projects ordered by companies who are collaborating with our University. You will also be able to do your internship in other international companies, corporations, and institutions.

  EXPERTISE
  Studying at Vistula University will enable you to gain the knowledge necessary to quickly master the basics of Spanish, and eventually reach at least C1 level, as well as learning a second language – English – to at least B1 level.
