INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA OF TEACHING IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (MANDARIN)

The International Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood Education (Mandarin) [IDTECE (M)] aims to develop students’ knowledge of how children learn and develop in the early years. The course will prepare students with the knowledge and skillset required to embark on a career as an Early Childhood Educator.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

establish effective pedagogical and practice skills in early childhood education

PSW Opportunity

The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be at least 17 years of age at the time of application.
Candidates must have minimum of 10 years of formal education and passed in equivalence of GCE ‘O’ Level Credits in 3 different subjects including a credit of at least C6 in Mandarin Language or its equivalent.
