The Diploma programme is designed for those high school leavers who want to obtain a Diploma in a subject related to the Hospitality industry and would study a range of subjects from English, to Marketing, Food and Beverages, IT, Front of House, Rooms Division and an Introduction to Research Methods.

Job Opportunity Potential
As a key part of our mission “Come as a Student become a Manager” students will be assisted with the opportunity to complete Career Work Experience in Singapore. Whilst it is optional for students to participate in this excellent opportunity, it is highly recommended that students use our services to assist in developing a career in the hospitality industry. HTMi (Singapore) will assist students with career related skills, job matching, and interviews.
PSW Opportunity
- The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
- Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
- They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirements:
At least 2 passes at GCE ‘A” level; or
Year 12 High School; or
Existing Diploma from another local polytechnic or PEIs PP; or
HTMi (Singapore) Foundation Course programme; or
other foreign qualifications shall be assessed on a case by case basis.
Age Requirements: At least 17 years old.
Language Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or pass HTMi (Singapore) English Placement Test.
