BS in Hospitality Management
The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) is an intensive and innovative degree program that establishes a strong foundation in hotel management, leadership, operations, and entrepreneurship. In partnership with Vatel USA, the BSHM appeals to students who want a solid academic foundation plus practical experience in the hospitality industry in Southern California.
The BS in Hospitality Management degree program is a 51-credit program, and can be completed in three or four years.

Job Opportunity Potential
As would be expected, most graduates of the BS in Hospitality Management Degree Program ultimately find work in the hospitality field. And while you may think this just means hotel management, there are other settings in which this degree is easily applied, such as Revenue Management and Convention Service Management—two important and oft-related careers adjacent to the more-commonly considered hotel management positions.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
High School Diploma
- Alliant recognizes equivalent ways of meeting the high school graduation requirement, i.e. completion of a General Educational Development (GED) certificate or completed equivalency through home schooling as recognized by state law. Please refer to our catalog for more information regarding high school diploma equivalency options and specifics.
Official Transcripts
- Applicants are required to submit official transcripts from all high schools and colleges attended showing a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- High school students and/or students who have earned less than 24 college units must submit an official high school transcript as well as official transcripts from all colleges attended that should be considered for transfer credit.
- Students who have earned 24 or more college units must submit an official high school graduation date, as well as official transcripts from all colleges attended that should be considered for transfer credit.
Placement tests in English and mathematics are required for all entering undergraduate students who have not met the English or mathematics requirements for their degree.
