Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) programme

ACCA have a variety of qualifications for those who want to pursue a career in accountancy but either do not want the full ACCA Qualification or do not have the necessary entry requirements for the full qualification.
The ACCA Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) programme includes of a suite of modules that are suitable for early learners in the field of finance and accountancy.
It provides students with flexible entry points with allowing students to tailor their specialties which allows them to qualify for the complete ACCA qualification. This foundation programme also helps students get the foundation skills necessary to gain entry level employment in finance and accounting positions.
The course is comprised of four papers that will introduce the basic concepts of accounting to students and help them understand the more advanced concepts that will be studied further in the qualification.
Students enrolling in FIA are provided with flexible entry points as follows:
Preparatory Course for Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting:
- Recording Financial Transactions (FA1)
- Management Information (MA1)
Preparatory Course for Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting:
- Maintaining Financial Records (FA2)
- Maintaining Costs and Finance (MA2)
