International Foundation in Science and Engineering

The International Foundation in Science and Engineering prepares you for direct entry on to the first year of a Computing, Mathematics, Engineering, Science or related undergraduate degree at an NCUK university.

Want to study in the UK in 2021? Our INTO Study Centres are ready to welcome you – with a selection of complimentary services to keep you safe and supported while you study with us. We will be offering interactive learning through a mixture of online and in-person teaching, all in accordance with the latest UK government guidelines.

If you’re not able to join us in person, our flexible course options mean you can start online instead – with the same quality education as face-to-face teaching. Then, when you can join us at the Centre, we’ll look forward to welcoming you.

Whatever questions you might have about the process, our friendly and approachable Student Placement Team offer drop-in sessions and workshops but you can also drop by the office if you need advice. They'll even arrange for you to visit a university or faculty of your choice.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Age requirements: 16 years and above

All students commencing courses on a published September start date must be 17 years old by 31 December of that calendar year. For January start dates, students must have turned 17 years old by the 31st December immediately preceding the course. Applicants who are under that may be accepted, but require a referral to the centre for approval first.

Academic requirements:

Completion of 12 years of schooling (or local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades.
