What You’ll Learn
The Health and Wellness, B.S. program prepares you for a fulfilling career as an administrator in the health care industry. You’ll study a range of health care topics, from nutrition to bioethics to exercise physiology, as well as administrative skills including health care payment systems and health information management. Plus, by adding just two additional courses, you can add a minor in Health Services Administration to your B.S. degree.
Our blended format, including online courses, allows you to complete your degree on your schedule. Senior year includes a one-semester internship in a health care setting to give you real-world experience exploring various health disciplines and improving your communication and professional skills. These internships often lead to full-time position offers after graduation. earnings.
You’ll also benefit from the close mentorship of our faculty of health professionals, who’ll share expertise across many disciplines based on experiences in the field and their participation in cutting-edge research in local, national, and international contexts.

- Copies of transcripts of all high school work, including college-level courses. Your mid-year and final grades will be required. All final, official transcripts must be received prior to the start of your first semester.
- Testing Preferences: First-time first-year applicants may choose to submit their application without standardized test scores to be considered for admission to New York Institute of Technology for the Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Fall 2021 semesters.
