Certificate in Computer Programmer
The Computer Programming certificate prepares you as an entry-level programmer in the microcomputer environment. Individuals learn to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information, analyze problems using logic/analysis tools, and write code in several computer languages. They also learn how to test, monitor, debug, document and maintain computer programs. Hands-on computer experience is emphasized throughout the program. Students completing Computer Hardware/Software will be prepared to take the Comptia A+ certification exams.
All of the courses in this certificate program can also be applied toward the AS, Computer Programming and Analysis.
The program is designed for both full-time and part-time students. Courses are offered in an online and traditional formats to accommodate students’ varying schedules and learning preferences.
