Associate in Science (AS) in Civil Engineering Technology
The Associate in Science (AS) in Civil Engineering Technology prepares students for careers as surveyors, civil engineering technicians, surveyor helpers, and related positions in public, private, and governmental organizations.
The AS, in Civil Engineering Technology program includes courses in blueprint reading, engineering, surveying and construction procedures. Technical report writing, record keeping and mathematical computations are important aspects of this occupation. Students perform manual and Computer-Aided surveying using advanced, industry-specific hardware and software, including GIS, while focusing on sustainability.
The program is designed for both full-time and part-time students. Courses are offered in an online and traditional formats to accommodate students’ varying schedules and learning preferences.
