Project Management and Operations Management MSc

This course looks at the core principles of project management and business operations, including how to plan and manage complex projects effectively, helping prepare you for a career in a variety of project management roles. Project Management is at the core of business development at the moment, meaning that graduates will benefit from the knowledge gain from this course to help achieve strategic objectives and goals within organisations.

The course aims to provide you with in-depth appreciation of project management theories and practices, and their importance to contemporary businesses. The course helps develop your understanding of the need to manage and plan complex projects in an integrated manner, within an overall business environment.

This course is Aimed primarily at those seeking to progress or move into a project management role, the course is suited to those who wish to work in the complex functions of major construction, IT, manufacturing, services and retail.

Queensgate

The university's main campus, Queensgate, is south-east of Huddersfield town centre. Virtually all of the university's teaching takes place on the site. The campus is split in two by the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. It features a mixture of converted mill buildings, and purpose-built facilities

PSW Opportunity

  • 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
  • 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry requirements for this course are normally:

An Honours degree (2:2 or above), or equivalent qualification, in any subject.
Applicants with other appropriate professional qualifications and/or experience will be considered on an individual basis.
If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
