UAL Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Music

This course is designed with the “360 degree” approach which means that you will be developing yourself in several different fields to become a rounded professional, proficient enough to undertake roles in areas such as music performance, production, song writing or business. Course Content
This course consists of the following units:
- Rehearsal and performance skills
- Create music using computers
- Musical composition
- Music industry
- MIDI sequencing using Logic Pro X
- Music technology in performance sound engineering.
Study Methods
You will be taught in both a classroom-based environment, as well as in our state-of-the-art music studios.

Job Opportunity Potential
Students may gain employment in the music industry in a number of roles, as an aspiring musician, a music technologist, sound engineer, crew or composer/producer.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
5 GCSEs grade 9-4 (grade A*- C) preferably including both English & maths or a relevant Level 2 qualification at merit or above. You will be invited for an interview and audition, plus prior experience of playing an instrument is desirable.
